Stabbing leads to indictment

LAWRENCEVILLE - A Brunswick grand jury indicted Dusty Wallace Kidd, 18, for maliciously wounding Shawn Glenn on Aug. 26.
Sheriff Brian Roberts said Investigator G. L. Peterson responded to a call that someone was stabbed in the stomach and back at a residence in Gasburg. Glenn drove to the Slip-in in Lawrenceville and was later transported to Community Memorial Healthcenter for treatment. Peterson went to 703 Hammack Road and talked with Kidd. Roberts said Clifton Mason witnessed the incident and went with Glenn to the Slip-in. At the residence Roberts said Kidd signed a statement admitting stabbing Glenn. Roberts said there were four or five knives on the table and Kidd identified the knife he used to stab Glenn. Kidd said Glenn was bigger and he had to protect himself.
Joseph Terrell Crittendon, 26, was indicted for maliciously wounding Barney Paul Walker on May 30.
Tavari Kyshan Brown, 25, was indicted for statutory burglary, the home of Charlie Paul Walker, on May 28.
Quinten Vaughan, 20, was indicted for shooting from a vehicle to endanger others on March 10.
Christopher Edward Grant, 28, was indicted for maliciously wounding Shawndo Coron Ramirez on April 20.
Leon Howard Smith, 45, was indicted for possession of cocaine on June 21.
McTyran Trelain Lanier, 37, was indicted for driving under the influence on April 27. He was also indicted for refusal of a blood or breath test and for resisting arrest, both on the same date.
Claudette Dawn Given, 35, was indicted for possession of cocaine on June 14.
Emily Nicole Johnson, 35, was indicted for common law burglary, the home of Ronald Kisner, on June 26. She was also indicted for grand larceny on the same date.
Datwane Michael Puryear, 19, was indicted for grand larceny of James Cook and Sam Sadler on June 23. He was indicted for grand larceny of Kenneth Dail on June 11.
Marcellus Tyrone Pope, 38, was indicted for driving under the influence on Aug. 22, third or subsequent offense within 10 years.
Paul Steven Fortner, 20, was indicted for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute on Aug. 8.
Kieran Sean Gaughan, 22, was indicted for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute on Aug. 8.
Deven Rogers, 17, was indicted for maliciously throwing a missile at an occupied vehicle on July 23, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, brandishing a firearm, assault and battery of Lawrence Kelly and possession of a firearm by a minor.
Anthony Terrance Hagen, 34, was indicted for statutory burglary of the home of Charlie Paul Walker on May 28.
Samar Altine Hardeman, 19, was indicted for discharging a firearm along a roadway on March 10. He was also indicted for the reckless handling of a firearm on the same date.
Robert Stan Forsmark, 57, was indicted for driving while intoxicated on June 24 after being declared a habitual offender for driving while intoxicated.
Vitthal Chris A. Watkins, 28, was indicted for the manufacture, sale or distribution of a controlled substance on Oct. 8, 2006. He was also indicted for transporting into Virginia 1 ounce or more of cocaine on Oct. 6, 2006.
James Beverly, 67, was indicted for assault and battery of a law enforcement officer on Aug. 30.
Paul Davis Rhodes, 38, was indicted for possession of cocaine on Aug. 20.
Gail Denise Stratford, 50, was indicted for felony petit larceny, D D Mart, bad checks with two prior convictions, on June 25.
Robert Bryant Lafoon 46, was indicted for assault and battery with serious injury on Sept. 10, violating a protective order and maliciously wounding Tamara Jones Lafoon on the same date. |
