Good health naturally (Part 3)

Why is it that some people live a long, healthy, peaceful life and others die before reaching old age? I'm not talking about those who die by accident or other unnatural means, but those who age too fast, go down hill quickly and pass on before their time.

There are many reasons for this. Sometimes longevity runs in one's genes. Some people handle stress better than others. Some people seem to have the ability to find and retain peace in their lives. I'm not much of an expert, but I do know that worrying about something that happened yesterday or longer ago does no good and can contaminate one's quality of life and thereby probably shortens one's days on earth.

A few words to study and dwell upon to live a better life are "peaceful," "honesty," "companionship," "sharing" and "forgiving." Put your own meaning into each of them and maybe think of some more. How about "laughing" and "giving"? I've never given anything that, sooner or later, I didn't get it back 10 times over.

I know a little bit about wild creatures and nature, having lived my entire life surrounded by wild things. I've said many times that nature is perfect in every way and that if nature does something, it is the right thing to do, and if man does something that nature doesn't do, then man is wrong. There are many examples of this every day.

For some reason, and I know what it is, humans have a much greater leeway as to natural and unnatural doings in their living than do wild creatures. When a wild creature, whether it's young or old, goes against nature, it soon dies, most of the time instantly. But in the case of us humans, we are allowed to defy nature, seemingly at will, throughout our lives. Those humans who are sensible enough to live natural lives and follow nature's ways generally live longer, healthier and happy lives. One key thought is "moderation" versus "excess." When a wild animal goes from moderation to excess, it soon dies. Man is permitted to go from moderation to excess to extreme, and sooner or later he causes his own suffering and death, the main factor being self-abuse.

With the exception of those with birth defects, most of which I believe are caused by man's pollution, contamination, overpopulation and other abuses of the environment, we are born with the beginning of and potential to live long and healthy lives. Nature mandates and guides all wild creatures through perfectly healthy lives, except when man interferes with the process. Man is free to take whatever course he chooses, be it good (natural) or bad (unnatural), thereby determining his own future and it being his own responsibility and his own fault if it turns out bad or unhappy. Is it necessary for me to spell out some of the things of which I speak? How about drugs, alcohol, overeating and other such vices, or jealousy, dishonesty, greed or other such sins?

Something natural is better than something manmade or artificial every time. For instance, it's better to get our minerals and vitamins by eating fruits and vegetables. However, it's better to take mineral and vitamin tablets and supplements than to not get them at all. Someone said that it seems as if half the people in this country make their livings by suing the other half. Therefore, I should advise you to consult with your doctor before trying any of the things I'm about to tell.

The following are some of the things that I've learned to do or not to do, mostly learning the hard way, that have helped me have a healthy and generally happy life up to the present time. It's up to you and your doctor whether you try any of them or not.

At the beginning of your day, before you arise, sit on the edge of your bed and vigorously massage the top and sides of your head. If you do it correctly you will feel a tingling in your scalp that will last for a half hour.

Next, go to the sink and take a cod liver oil capsule and wash it down with a large glass of warm water, at least a pint of it. I strongly recommend drinking pure spring bottled water. Some bottled water is only tap water that is said to be purified. Remember, unless you live in the mountains or get your household water from a well or spring, more than likely the water you use today was flushed from someone's toilet a few days before, and I just don't believe certain liquids can be separated from water. Thirty minutes after drinking that glass of warm pure spring water, drink another one. This will flush out your kidneys about an hour later.
